Process & Guidelines
No appointment is necessary to consign but we encourage making one for 3 or more items to provide the best customer service. Consignments must be received prior to the last hour before the store closes. If you would like to request an appointment, please call us at 269.329.2802 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or click on the contact page on this website.
Please note: We will no longer accept consignments on Saturday's. Due to heavy traffic on Saturday we want to ensure that your item(s) gets inspected at time of drop off. We value your time.
~ A detailed inspection of the item will be done.
~ Price will depend on condition, age, style, brand, and the original price. We will not be quoting price on the spot. We will research your item for the best price.
~ You will receive 40% of the sale price once the item is sold.
~ Savvy will consign your bridal gown for 11 months and all other items for 6 months. If your items do not sell, you may choose to pick them up or Savvy will donate them on your behalf. We work with The Cinderella Project and other charities to donate items to those who could not otherwise afford the dress of their dreams.
~ The full consignment agreement is available by request.
If you have dress/items you would like to consign, the following guidelines apply:
~ Items must be in like new condition and currently in style.
~ Items must be clean, pressed, and ready to wear.
~ Please tie off any loose threads and be sure no bead work is coming loose before bringing in dresses.
~ Dress must be removed from the box if preserved. Savvy cannot accept your boxes, hangers, or dress bags. If any bags or hangers are left behind, they will be disposed of.
~ Original receipts and any certifications are recommended (to help with pricing).
