Do you buy dresses? We do not buy dresses here at Savvy. We consign items, so if we are able to take your item, you will receive a check after the item sells. How much ($) do I receive/what will you price my dress at? After an item sells you will receive a check for 40% of the selling price. We price dresses according to age, trends, styles, brands, material, and the overall condition. For more information, head on over to our Consignment Process page. Do you have any consignment restrictions/what do you not take? Items must be clean and ready to wear, in style, and in good condition. We do not take shoes, children's clothing, menswear, and various accessories or decorations. We also do not take David's Bridal bridesmaid dresses. For more information, head on over to our Consignment Process page. Do you have a seamstress? We do have a seamstress available by appointment only. Feel free to give us a call to set up an appointment or consultation. Keep in mind that though a seamstress can do many things, not all things can be altered or fixed. Do I have to make an appointment to try on wedding dresses? You do not need to make an appointment to try on bridal gowns. However, if you are looking for one on one attention or plan on coming in on a Saturday, an appointment is recommended. If store hours do not work with your schedule, we will do our best to provide you with an after hours appointment. Do I need to make an appointment to consign items? In most cases you do not need an appointment to consign items. However, if you come are consigning items within an hour of closing time, an appointment will be required. Also, if more than 3 items are being consigned, we ask that you schedule an appointment. What are your price ranges for wedding dresses? Our prices vary depending on the dress style, age, brand, trend, material, and condition. The average dress price though ranges from $300-$800. Do you carry different colored table linens and napkins?* We do offer a variety of colors for napkins. Table linens are more limited and dependent upon the size. Feel free to stop into the store to view our colors and selections. What colors do you carry in chair covers and sashes?* We carry many colors of sashes, both in organza and satin, and have them showcased under the Wedding Planning & Design tab. Folding chair covers come in white and black; banquet chair covers are available in white, black, and ivory. Do you carry sizes 16 and up? We carry all sizes here at Savvy, including sizes 16 and up! However, our stock is dependent upon what is brought in and consigned, so if you do not see something that works for you during your first visit, check back in a week or two to see how the inventory has changed. Also, keep in mind how in demand these sizes are, so they do tend to fly off the racks. What are your selections and prices of tuxedos? We have a large variety of tuxedo and suit styles to choose from. Prices range from $89-$179 and changed based off of brand, material, and style. Do you rent dresses? We do not rent dresses here at Savvy. Only decorations and tuxedos are available for rent. Can I return a dress or other item I bought? All sales here at Savvy are final and items cannot be returned. If you need time to think about an item or to shop around some more, we do offer to hold or layaway an item for you.
