Savvy Bridal & Formal Exchange started as a Chair Cover rental company in 2011 under the name Decorations Complete. In 2012, we moved into a small storefront with the aim of offering consignment services for bridal gowns, prom gowns, homecoming dresses, and accessories. In the summer of 2012, Andy and Tammy purchased Savvy Bridal & Formal Exchange and focused the business on three core values: Value, Customer Experience, and Sustainability. The formal wear industry is rife with waste. Two times per year, designers release a new line, often rendering the previous lines obsolete and leaving inventory on shelves that can no longer be ordered. Once the big day is over, dresses sit in closets or basements, often having been worn only once. Savvy offers a solution - the chance to give that beautiful dress new life with another bride (or prom-goer) while putting some cash back in your hands.
Since 2012, many dresses have found their way back into pictures and memories. We decided to expand our offering to the gentlemen, providing the same high-quality tuxedos as big name stores at a value that allows them to upgrade their look for the same price. In 2014, Savvy moved into our new storefront, tripling our space and ability to offer an even greater selection at the best possible value. Since then, we've continued to be the premier provider of Chair Covers for Southwest Michigan and expanded our offering to professional wedding planning and design services. No other formal wear store can offer our breadth of products and services!
